WHAT IS WHAT?
It can be confusing to see all of the different options on our website when you are new to the PTA/Tomato & Reshade scene. We will try to explain what everything so you can decide what is best for you. First is our TomatoShade preset.
This preset is made for the Tomato Shade tool, this tool let's you edit the default shaders in Prepar3D, even more than you can with PTA. PTA is a tool similar to Tomato but less complex, tomato also has the ability to add reflections to your aircraft. This is not possible with PTA. Our reflection profiles are to be used with TomatoShade. TomatoShade comes with a 'Reflection maker', For you to add reflections to your aircraft you have to add the profiles you download for our website to the aircraft using this tool and you will be able to enjoy realistic looking reflections. Last but not least is Reshade, This is a post-processing injector. This means it adds visual effects to Prepar3D over the default visuals that Prepar3D displays. Reshade can be used together with TomatoShade and PTA (This is something we highly recommend) |
How do you get started.
